Car Parking

A limited number of car parking spaces are available in and around the James S Webb Freemasonry Centre itself. Additional car parking can be found at the following locations:

• There are some car park spaces at Twinkle Toes Nursery (next door to the JSWFC) which are available for our use after 5:30pm.

• We also have an agreement with the management at Argus Fire which permits us to use their car park during our meetings. It is situated immediately across the road from the JSWFC and can be identified by the white security fence which surrounds it. There are, however, some important provisos on which the continuation of this agreement depends:

  • Parking for Masons will be permitted from 5:15pm onwards and not before.

  • It is important that we park responsibly – do not block any other cars parked there and leave one space adjacent to the entrance to permit access and egress for other drivers.

• Brethren and guests at the JSWFC can also use the ECP Car Park which is located at the opposite corner of Victoria Street. The cost is £1 for the whole evening after 5pm and payment can be made via the ECPparkbuddy app, credit card, phone or by using a good old-fashioned £1 coin.

• Finally, some Brethren find it convenient to park in Market Street or Lower Hight Street. Both locations are free after 5pm.
